Do you know what you are looking for?
Searching for what we do not recognize consumes energy and makes effort futile. Majority of people search for success on the outside without a recognition of it on the inside. They do not know what they are looking for so defeat constantly accompanies their endeavor.
Some people blame their inability to succeed on the economy while others blame it on their enemies. Bishop Oyedepo says “you are not a failure until you blame someone else or something for your failure.”
Don’t blame the devil either. When you begin to ask questions like; if the economy is working for others why not me? Are successful people without enemies? If the devil is not stopping others, why is he able to stop me? You’ve come to the moment of truth.
A discovery precedes a recovery. Knowing what you are looking for ‘without’ requires a discovery ‘within’ for you to maximize hard-work. You need to make a discovery of who you are before you can recover the limitless abundance around you.
someone who doesn’t recognize gold in its raw form cannot run towards it. What to do is secondary; what you see is primary. For a moment, stop searching for what to do (the next job or the next hustle) and sit down to discover who you are.
Benjamin Franklin said “your networth to the world is usually determined by what remains after your bad habits are subtracted from your good ones.”
Here are 3 points to consider:
- “We don’t see the world as it is but as we are.” That’s right. Where one see’s lack another may see abundance. Where one sees challenge another sees opportunity. Change your thinking, change your world.
- “The path of the righteous shines brighter each day.” Check the adopted values that have shaped your personality. New information about a long-time value can bring impressive transformation to your life & how you work.
- “Life doesn’t happen to us; it happens from us.” You are the master of your fate. The power to maximize destiny is in your hands; take initiative!
Friend, the world dances to our tune; we are the dance and the world is the dancer. Life gives its best dance when we strike our best tune.
